the world needs less talking and more space for listening. sanctus is an intentional space where all are invited to grow into wholly presence in God and one another. modeled after the community of taize in france, sanctus seeks to be a set apart space that recognizes God wants to say something to each of us. this communal listening project through ancient chant forms, scripture and silence is that place.

at a minimum this is another individualistic, consumptive opportunity to hear beautiful music, monastic style. at best this is the very breath of God, for it is not us who gather to pray, but God's praying through us for the sake of the world.
